Shares from here...

Kids doing a nature study of some collected items which we found at the park last Sunday afternoon....

Stass concentrating on which bit to colour and draw next! Today we did work on Mammals, Marsupials and Monotremes and all the kids loved it! Lots of colouring, cutting, pasting, discussing and me reading aloud to them about it.

Playdoh fun...

Cuddles, kisses and tummy rubs for bubba (and mumma!)...

Stass made this great little 'merry-go-round' from 'magnetix' the other day....

and the best part is actually spins!!! Go Stass! ...

Ethi falling asleep almost everytime in the afternoon during our 'quiet hour'...

a new laundry hamper...

I got this great tall glass vase from the council chuck out the other day and filled it with dolly pegs on the bathroom vanity...

28 week tummy shot...

the kids had some great times playing with jigsaws while waiting for the pot of pasta for lunch to boil...

I knocked up some backed placemats for the new table (for the adults - the kids have these gorgeous ones from Ikea which i adore)...I got the gingham fabric for $2 from the op shop the other day and are really happy with the way these turned out. They are all the same size too which totally shocked Brett! lol :) We tried them out last night when we had Heiko and Lori stop by for dinner :) Love you guys!

We also had Cath and Laura-Belle visit in the afternoon to give Stass these beautiful flowers, a hug and some craft that Laura had been working on! So gorgeous :) There is about 3 years age gap between the girls but they are really good little friends!

And we spent some of the week as i mentioned in a previous post, shuffling around the backroom so that basically all that is in the back dining area is the new big table. We moved the little cupboard under the photo boards and i just think it looks really cute there and wanted to photograph it. It's amazing how so many little things can bring so much joy. Not because they are amazing top-of-the-line kind of things, but because they make my home a happy place.
"Home is...a place of rest from work, but also requires work to keep it going. It is a place of relaxation and of enjoyment in making it interesting, colourful, beautiful and welcoming; where we can thrive rather than passively survive"
- Ruth Fowke

5 things I am thankful to the Lord for today:
1. Honesty
2. Refreshing breezes
3. The joy of discovery
4. The book 'Peace be on your home'
5. More swimming :)

Hey Lus

Good to see you have had a good week. I dropped something into the letterbox for Stassi, which I found at work. Thought she might like it, just for fun.

Have a good weekend.

Luv Kaz xx
