I'll post more sometime soon. My back has been playing up alot lately but Yah (God) has been providing lots of ways for things to be done.
I am very thankful for all He provides...really....especially times like this.
I've also had a stiff neck/shoulder the past 2 days but mum and dad had been visiting so they helped out heaps which was wonderful.
Anyway, I've got more to post another time; like sharing how we celebrated Stass' birthday (THANKS to everyone btw for all her birthday comments! You are all so lovely!) and how we celebrated a wonderful Shabbat this past week. Wanted to share some recipes and have been wanting to give the blog a little makeover but this is pretty much what I can manage right now.
Anyway, thanks for all the comments and emails too recently. Special shout outs to Cara and Bindi! Thanks for the love girls :)

Two Words...

Don't have much time at the mo for much else so thought I'd just update with yet another Two Words post! At least when I turn this blog into a book (someday) for me to read over, it won't have months of blanks! lol!

(I went away last weekend for my annual mother's group break. It was lovely and refreshing. I was really very torn about going and leaving the kids so long (especially Zippi) but after much prayer both Brett and I felt it was right for me to go. Mum and dad were here the whole weekend to support Brett (not that he's not capable but just gave me that extra reassurance to know they were there to help out where necessary and give extra cuddles!) Anyway, I am glad I went but it was SO GREAT to come home and realise what a beautiful fam I have here. Really made me very thankful.

(ok explanation is that since we've been eating only what Yah (God) deems 'food' in the Bible, we have stopped eating anything from pig. Will post more on this another time. He calls pig an animal but never calls it a food. All foods are clean for us as long as they were first of all called a food. Anyway, I digress. For us, we've been cooking up a beef silverside roast in the slow cooker about once a week and then with any leftovers, we sometimes fry it up the next day for brekky and have with some eggs and fried vegies. We like it anyway!)

Two Words...

So some of what we have been up to lately has included celebrating the rest of Sukkot (The Feast of Tabernacles), some homeschooling, some relaxing, some catching up with friends.

Psalm Brainstorming

(Ok quick note added here: Brett was homeschooling the kids this particular day and read aloud some of the 'Hallel Psalms' (from Psalms 113-118) and decided he and the kids should write their own Psalm (pic above). He got them to think of some good words and some bad words and used these to form parts of the Psalm. I love that kind of teaching + learning + living. Made me cry when I saw it when I came home that arv. He is such a blessing to me. Just don't want to forget that.)

(Ok another quick note for myself to remember: Brett saw this human body jigsaw book and thought of the kids doing some of this in our health unit so he grabbed it for them. I thought that was really sweet).
