On the way home, we passed a this pile of old basket twine which was out for the local council chuck-out....
I trimmed it into a circular shape and then using small cloth ties, secured the bundle...
added some fake berries...
and now have it taking pride of place around the candleabra in the centre of the table. I really like it!
And here is a Kaisercraft 'A' for Austin that Brett went and picked up for me last week. I painted it black and have it standing on the little table that holds our Bible/Devotional stuff and some of my albums right near our dining table.
So just some little things from around our home that make are making me happy right now :)

Hey Lus. LOVE your table. We have the same one, but in the square 8 seater! I LOVE everyday living! When we built our house we bought a heap of large items from there. The table, a HUGE wall mirror, a buffet and a tele cabinet - all in the ashton range.....love it! We had our eye on the 12 seater, but added a feature wall between our dining area and our pool room, so it wouldn't fit...lol. Should have built it around the table hu....pmsl.

Lusi, love your updates, love all your photos, LOVE your new table too - so good to be able to have a table large enough to have family and friends all seated together. Love your inspiration - Sounds like you have the homeschooling down pat already too - be praying for you guys this year.
