Pupu's chunky pancakes
Ingredients:
3 cups of self raising flour
water to mix to make a dough
oil for the pan
Method:
1. In a large bowl mix some water with the flour so that you have a nice dough.
2. Roll out the dough with a floured rolling pin so it is about 2cms thick
4. Put a thin layer of oil (3 or 4 tablespoons) across the bottom of the pan and wait for it to get sizzling hot. Test first by adding a tiny piece of dough and watching for when it gets brown around the edges....then add your pancakes!
and there you go....pupu's golden chunky pancakes!
Cut them in half and enjoy them with butter, honey, vegemite (my fave!)
