Ezekiel Qelevuki was born on Monday night at 11.44pm in the water at home surrounded by our loving family, our beautiful MIDWIFE HAZEL, my gorgeous friend AND PHOTOGRAPHER MELL MALLIN who took these incredibly precious shots for us! My beautiful sil made it not long after the birth and supported us incredibly leading up to it and after it with the kids. My parents were also present which was an incredible blessing, reading scriptures aloud, praying over me and helping out in wonderful ways!
I'll be back down the track with a bit more of the birth story but in brief, it lasted 34 mins from first contraction to birth, he was born 8 pounds 6 oz (my biggest bubba yet!) and was 52 cm long.

You just came to mind earlier this evening and I thought "Oh my, you would have had the baby!" And then quickly went to your blog and YES There he is! A then your amazing slide show- wow! Speechless Lus. Looks like you had an amazing birth. Izzy watched your slideshow with me and LOVED it - she said "Oh Mum. Baby's cute!" I couldn't say much as I was holding back the tears. Just divine Lus. A belated congratulations (and Mazel Tov!) and well done to the whole crew (esp. you!) Will try give you a buzz soon and we can catch up. LOVE his name! It's just beautiful.

Amazing! I'm in awe. What an inspiration you all are. I was at my youngest brothers birth when I was 12. What a bonding experience this is for a family. There are no words for it.
