Back from holidays!

Bags are still unpacked + everyone is in bed already but I am still pumped from our wonderful time away this week!
We left Sunday and just arrived back today (Wed) from a couple of days out west with some friends of ours - Christine + Jono + their beautiful family. It was such a beautiful restorative time + we were so blessed by Yehovah (God the Father) with His presence, with excellent discussions in the Word, with laughter, much joy, some tears, wonderful hospitality and with rest!

So here are some of the shots of our time away...

The Austins + Vandors with Michelle + Peter and Daniel (another Torah delighting family whom we met for the first time. Was SO great to meet these guys too!)

Our on the farm, Bridget let Stass feed the baby goats...

And (is it Becky?) giving Zip a little kiss before Zip freeeeeeaked out crying! lol - city kids!

Lots of discussing + chatting...

picking wildflowers...

both families together...

love this shot of Jonah + Liji walking through the field together back up to the house from the dam...

Zip trying to play cricket too!

Donna + Keiran and their beautiful family also joined us (which was SO excellent!) and we all went for a walk in the fields...

my beautiful friend Donna...

ok so posing a little here in the grass but it's not something I get to do often! lol!

Christine...

Zippi exploring...
All three families walking - was a real time of blessed fellowship...

me having a bowl in the cricket game! lol!

Pip and Becky saying goodbye to Brigi as they were heading off to live with Donna's fam...

Christine, Donna and myself...

and our men...Jono, Keiran and Brettsky...

some of the local paddocks...

+ one of the *local kids* lol!...

kids eating iceblocks in the warm weather...

and playing totem tennis...

liji really enjoyed meeting the animals...a hen, a cat and a dog all at once!

Jono and Christine took us on an excellent drive up to the top of a big hill near a water tower and there were fantastic views of all the local farms. The kids had a blast running down the hills and checking out all the lamb carcasses! Being a kid rocks! Running like that is something they've wanted to do for a while - how great to be so free!

Christine cooked so many yummy things while we were there...

kiddos all playing lego together...

playing hide and seek together...

me + my mate Christine...you are such a blessing to me!

we gave thanks by reading aloud (repeating for my kids) the Avinu prayer (the 'Our Father' prayer) in Hebrew before some of our meals. Our kids want to learn it now...

Here it is with the translation into English below *slightly different in the Hebrew to what it is in the English version*

Bill and Zip - he was so precious with her the whole weekend. These kids are so kind and considerate with real servant hearts - was a blessing to be around them!

Bridget and our Stass...

The two families' children together...

the adluts altogether...

and the families just before saying our goodbyes...

See you all soon!

after a few late nights in a row, catching up on some zzzzz's on the way home...

It's a beautiful thing - to know that there is forgiveness, His life + His love in our human relationships.
To have people walk with you, share their hearts, open their home, chat + pray with you - these blessings are priceless.
Thanks guys, we won't ever forget this time together.
More another time,
Lus x

Great photos Lusi! Looks like is was a precious time! Hey you might be tickled to know that we (Yahkheena's from http://cheshiersjourney.blogspot.com/) Family and I shared your Shabbat song with our Sukkot group. We were all gathered round after dark on that first Shabbat of the Feasts and people were just offering songs. Yahkheena's family started leading in the Shabbat song you shared on your blog. I had heard it from watching your post (AND LOVED IT!) and chimed in with her family. I was sweat. So wether you know it or not...you were a part of our Sukkot too. :-)

I appreciate you!

Much Love, pamela
